Clerk's Department

The Clerk's Department is the official record keeper for the Town, including by-laws and agreements.  Council and Committee of the Whole meeting agendas and minutes, as well as the preparation and disbursement of documentation resulting from these meetings, are also coordinated through the Clerk's Department.

In addition, the Clerk's office handles the issuing of Bed and Breakfast, Cottage Rental, Country Inn, and Vacation Apartment licences; lottery licences; special event permits; and commissioning of documents.  The Clerk's office also organizes the municipal and school board elections.
